Smart EMI Calculator is an Android app that helps you quickly calculate the Equated Monthly Installment (EMI) for any loan. Simply enter your loan amount, annual interest rate, and loan tenure to instantly see your monthly EMI, total interest payable, and total repayment amount.
The app is designed for local, offline use. All EMI calculations are performed entirely on your device without requiring an account or internet connection.
Important: Smart EMI Calculator contains ads and may use third-party services for advertising or Google Play purchases. 2. Information handled by the app
Smart EMI Calculator is a calculation tool. It does not collect or transmit your loan details to any server. The app may store the following information locally on your device:
- Loan inputs you enter, such as loan amount, interest rate, and tenure, for convenience within the current session or if the app retains your last-used values.
- App preferences, such as your selected theme or currency symbol.
- Purchase status needed to determine whether ads should be removed.
Smart EMI Calculator does not require your name, contacts, or an account login to perform calculations. The loan figures you enter are used solely to compute EMI results on your device.
3. Local storage and offline use
Any loan inputs retained between sessions and your app preferences are intended to be stored locally on your Android device. The core app does not require a Smart EMI Calculator account or cloud sync to perform calculations.
Because data is stored on your device, clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app may erase any saved inputs or preferences. The app cannot recover locally stored data for you.
All EMI calculations are performed on-device and are fully available offline. Features that require an internet connection, such as purchasing the ad-free version, are noted separately.
4. Advertising
Smart EMI Calculator displays ads in the free version. The advertising provider may collect or receive information such as advertising identifiers, app interactions, device information, approximate location derived from network information, or diagnostic data, subject to the provider's setup and your device settings.
Advertising providers may use information to deliver, measure, or personalize ads, as permitted by applicable law and your choices. Review the privacy policy and data safety information of the advertising provider used in the released app.
If the app's advertising setup changes, this policy and the app's Google Play Data safety disclosures should be updated to match.
5. Remove Ads purchases
Smart EMI Calculator may offer a one-time purchase to remove ads. Purchases are processed by Google Play. Smart EMI Calculator does not receive or store your full payment card details.
Google Play may process purchase details and account information to complete, manage, and restore purchases under Google's terms and privacy policy. The app may check purchase status to enable the ad-free experience.
Purchase and restoration features require an internet connection and may not be available offline. All core EMI calculation features are designed to work offline.

7. Data retention and deletion
Any loan inputs or preferences stored locally remain on your device until you clear the app's data or uninstall the app. You can clear saved inputs within the app where those controls are available.
Third-party providers may retain information they process according to their own policies and legal obligations. Deleting local app data does not necessarily delete information already held by Google Play or an advertising provider.
8. Security
Smart EMI Calculator uses Android's app storage mechanisms to keep its local data within the app's storage area. No method of electronic storage is completely secure. Protect your device with a screen lock and keep Android and the app updated.
Anyone with access to your unlocked device or app data may be able to view inputs stored in Smart EMI Calculator.
9. Children's privacy
Smart EMI Calculator is a general financial calculation tool and is not designed specifically for children. The app does not knowingly ask children to provide personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a third-party feature, contact us using the details below.
Before publishing, confirm the app's intended age group and that the advertising setup complies with applicable child privacy and Google Play Families requirements, if relevant.
10. Third-party services
